All bowl skaters are welcome at the annual, family-friendly Bowl-B-Que Skate Competition. Skaters compete in the bowl for prizes.
Bowl skating involves skateboarding in a large, bowl-shaped structure that is typically circular or oval, with a shallow end and a deep end to create transitions to gain speed and perform tricks.
The $10 entry fee includes an event T-shirt and giveaways.
There are four divisions: ages 12 and younger, 13 to 16, 17 and older, and girls.
Registration is on the day of the event.
