Get ready to salsa, sway and celebrate at the ¡Qué Bacano! Latin Dance Showcase on Friday, April 4, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the West Palm Beach City Hall Courtyard, 407 Clematis St.
The free community celebration invites people to experience the fiery flair of salsa, the smooth beats of bachata and more examples of Latin American dance.
After registration at 5:30 p.m., the Latin Dance Showcase starts at 6:30. Dancers of all experience levels may participate, but space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
The showcase will be judged across three rounds, with prizes for best couple, best dress, best overall audience engagement and most creative choreography. Each winner will receive a $100 gift card to a Downtown West Palm Beach restaurant.
“Latin dance is more than movement. It’s a celebration of history, community and passion,” a Downtown Development Authority representative says. “This event brings people together through music, culture and shared joy, and we’re thrilled to showcase the incredible talent in our area.”
Admission and participation are free. For details and registration, visit DowntownWPB.com/LatinDanceShowcase.
