The 27th annual Arts4All Florida-Palm Beach County West Festival will be held Feb. 15, providing children with disabilities access to art forms from storytelling, music, drama and dance to drawing, mixed media, painting and wearable art.
Approximately 150 students from Belle Glade, Canal Point and South Bay will experience those artistic expressions with hands-on guidance from artists Kat Kenny, Kali DeCarlo, Betty Varnell, Siobhan McManus and Buckley Griffis. The festival also will host “Art Under the Sea,” directed by Tracy Rosof-Petersen and Steve Brouse.
A4AFL-PBC is an affiliate of Arts4All Florida, which has held events and showcases for people with disabilities since 1985. A4AFL-PBC’s mission is to “create a society where people of all abilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts.”
The 27th annual A4AFL-PBC West Festival will take place at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center at Palm Beach State College’s Glades Campus in Belle Glade. For more information, call A4AFL-PBC Director Cindy Pijanowski at 561-966-7025, or visit a4apbc.com.
