3 to 9 p.m. March 9 to 11 at Wellington Town Center, 12150 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington
Head to Wellington Town Center for the Pop-Up Biergarten and Food Truck Rally. The traditional German biergarten will feature Hofbräu Bier from Munich, Germany, as well as domestic craft beers and ciders, sausage, schnitzel, and large, fresh pretzels.
Entertainment includes live music and games, plus a stein-hoisting competition at 7 p.m. March 10 and 11. This battle tests the strength and endurance of participants as they hold a filled stein — a large beer mug — for as long as they can. Authentic steins and keepsake boots will be available for purchase, with discounts for refills.
A free raffle will provide the winner a prize filled with Hofbräu gear. The Friday night event is in conjunction with Wellington’s Lakeside Market, with a variety of other vendors, including food, drinks, arts and crafts, and clothing.
Wellington’s biergarten sits along the Lake Wellington waterfront behind the Wellington Community Center at the village’s Town Center.
The event is open to all ages.
