Arizona: A Puppy With a Second Chance

At just 2 months old, the mixed-breed puppy entered the shelter system with his siblings after their mother was tragically struck and killed by a car. Still dependent on nursing, the litter's future was uncertain until dedicated foster families stepped in to bottle-feed the puppies around the clock.

Thanks to that lifesaving care, Arizona has grown into a happy, healthy puppy who is ready to start the next chapter of his life.

Weighing about 11 pounds, Arizona is expected to grow into a medium-to-large dog. He loves to play, cuddle and explore, making him an ideal companion for an active family looking to add a four-legged best friend.

Peek-a-boo: A Sweet Senior Ready for a New Beginning

Peek-a-boo is hoping for a second chance after losing the only home she has known. The 13-year-old domestic shorthair arrived at Peggy Adams after her owner became disabled and could no longer care for her.

Don't let her age fool you, though. Peek-a-boo still has plenty of love to give and enjoys life's simple pleasures. She may initially greet visitors from the safety of a cozy hiding spot, but it doesn't take long before curiosity wins out and she comes over to say hello.

Her perfect day includes relaxing in a sunny spot, spending quiet time with her favorite people and, of course, enjoying a tasty Churu treat.

Peek-a-boo is looking for a calm home where she can once again be someone's cherished companion.
