Amrit Ocean Resort is pulling out all the stops for Mother's Day this year, with Executive Chef Craig Tooker curating an elaborate seven-course brunch tasting menu at the resort's signature restaurant, Tula. Scheduled for May 11 from 11:30am to 3:30pm, the oceanfront experience is designed to give moms a leisurely, indulgent afternoon overlooking the Atlantic.
The meal begins communally, with warm ancient grain loaves served alongside house-churned cultured butter, raw honeycomb, and smoked salt, plus a pitcher cocktail for the table. Guests can choose between a rose water and lychee elixir called Her Frequency, or more classic options like mimosas or Bloody Marys.
From there, the menu unfolds across seven thoughtfully composed courses. A beachfront omelet with cage-free eggs, caramelized onion, goat cheese, and heritage bacon opens the savory progression. The second course offers a choice
between agua chile with prawns and cucumber juice, or a vegetarian white asparagus dish with carrot caviar and charred onion broth. A bright citrus and stone

fruit salad, layered with shaved fennel, grilled nectarines, kumquat, and Florida orange blossom honey, follows as a palate-refreshing interlude.
The fourth course splits between a wahoo fillet over baby spinach and red lentils, and a miso-glazed sweet potato with jasmine rice and brown butter. Course five takes a playful turn with tres leches French toast, topped with caramelized mango and banana brûlée. The penultimate savory choice lands between filet mignon with bone marrow butter and port wine reduction, or a sherry-marinated maitake mushroom with saffron broth and sea beans. The meal closes on a delicate note with a star anise panna cotta, accompanied by coconut gelato and Valrhona chocolate.
Families dining with younger children will find a separate à la carte kids' menu featuring ancient grain pancakes with berry compote ($14), scrambled eggs and seasonal fruit ($12), and pappardelle with butter and parmesan ($14).
Brunch is priced at $135 per person before tax and gratuity. Valet parking is complimentary. Reservations can be made by calling (561) 209-7255.
