Ages 13 to 17 can take classes including Sewing 101, Digital and Drone Photography, Ceramics, Accessory Design, Jewelry Making, Printmaking, Animation, Street Art, Fashion Design and Illustration and Costume Design. Tuition is $320 for teens and $270 for younger children per week-long session, which includes all supplies.
Combining indoor and outdoor creative projects using multiple artistic techniques, the summer camps also include excursions related to each week’s theme.
The Armory Art Center provides a creative outlet for beginners to learn and explore artistic pursuits. Most teachers affiliated with the center have earned a high level of art education.
“We are so excited about the chance to provide more amazing summer camp experiences with a team of instructors and staff dedicated to fostering the development of young artists in our community,” said Tom Pearson, the chief executive officer of the Armory Art Center.
Child care is available before and after the programs for an additional fee.
