A leading name in behavioral health treatment is expanding its footprint in downtown West Palm Beach. Beachway Therapy Center debuts its newly constructed Beachway Holistic Wellness Center, a dedicated wellness building and outdoor space designed to enhance trauma-informed, whole-person recovery.
The addition represents an evolution for the nationally recognized facility, shifting further toward integrative care that addresses not only mental health and substance use disorders, but also the physical and emotional systems that influence long-term healing.

The standalone wellness center and its surrounding Zen-inspired garden spaces have been intentionally designed to foster calm, safety and connection. The environment emphasizes nervous system regulation and emotional grounding—key components in trauma recovery—while providing a restorative setting for therapeutic programming and group work.
Inside, the space includes a dedicated massage therapy suite, meditation and mindfulness areas, an on-site salon focused on dignity and self-care and purpose-built rooms for experiential and integrative therapies. The design reflects a growing shift in behavioral health toward environments that actively support healing, rather than simply house it.
“Beachway Holistic Wellness Center will support nervous system regulation by helping clients develop greater awareness of their physiological state,” says Carrie Carlton, the center’s chief clinical officer. “Through our resilience groups, clients learn to reduce chronic muscle tension and shift out of survival-based responses. Cultivating a relaxed muscle body becomes a foundational skill that supports emotional regulation, improved stress tolerance, and sustained recovery.”
The new center will also serve as a hub for expanded wellness programming, including sound healing, body-based trauma therapies, mindfulness practices and other experiential modalities. These offerings are designed to complement traditional evidence-based treatment.
With locations in West Palm Beach and Princeton, New Jersey, Beachway Therapy Center's team of master’s-level clinicians specializes in trauma, dual diagnosis and long-term residential care, combining clinical expertise with innovative holistic practices to support lasting recovery.
