Bikini Bar and Kids Empire added at Wellington Green

The Mall at Wellington Green is rounding out the summer with two additions aimed at very different shoppers: sun-seekers looking to refresh their beach wardrobe and families hunting for an air-conditioned way to burn off kids’ energy.

Bikini Bar, a swimwear and resort wear boutique, opened June 27, and Kids Empire, an indoor-play attraction, has launched on the second floor near Grand Court.

At just under 1,500 square feet, Bikini Bar is compact but serves as the

brand’s flagship location.

The boutique stocks swimwear, resort wear and accessories meant to round out a coastal wardrobe. The store also carries handcrafted jewelry, including 14-karat gold-fill chains, shell-inspired pendants and charm pieces.

“Bikini Bar was created to bring the feeling of a beach getaway into everyday life,” says Laura Zamorano Rios, the brand’s owner. “We wanted to create more than just a swimwear store. We wanted a space where people feel confident, inspired and excited to express their personal style. We’re thrilled to join The Mall at Wellington Green and become part of this incredible community.”

Two floors of retail away, Kids Empire is betting on play rather than fashion. The 10,223-square-foot attraction offers active, imaginative play for children, with floor-to-ceiling climbing walls, interactive play structures, ball pits, slides, go-karts, a photo booth, claw games, a dance room, a toddler-only play area and a family snack bar.

The venue hosts birthday parties featuring dragon mascot Huggy. General admission runs $22.90 per child and includes free entry for two accompanying adults; infants under 1 get in free with a sibling. A 10-visit punch card is available for $159. Admission comes with all-day re-entry, so families can leave and return.

Kids Empire is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
