Boca Helping Hands strengthens team with four key hires

Boca Helping Hands has announced the addition of four new staff members to advance its food assistance and workforce development programs. The appointments are intended to bolster the organization’s capacity to serve more than 35,000 individuals and families each year.

Kori Ernst joins Boca Helping Hands as Development and Marketing Associate. Ernst brings a background in marketing, communications and community-based work, and will support fundraising initiatives and outreach efforts.

Joining the communications team is Anaïs Fauteux, a recent Florida Atlantic University graduate with a degree in Public Relations. As Communications and Marketing Specialist, Fauteux will focus on strengthening Boca Helping Hands' public messaging and digital engagement.

Michelle Lee, who holds an accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University and has spent more than a decade in nonprofit finance roles, has been named Staff Accountant. Lee will oversee financial reporting, budgeting and grant compliance to ensure continued sound management of Boca Helping Hands' resources.

Rounding out the new hires is Erika Hawn, Volunteer Program Manager. A Boca Helping Hands volunteer since age 12, Hawn pairs her deep passion for service with experience in hospitality management to recruit, train and support the organization’s volunteer corps.
Founded in 2008, Boca Helping Hands partners with The Town of Palm Beach United Way to deliver food assistance, job-readiness training and career-placement services across Palm Beach County. Accredited for sound nonprofit management and rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator, Boca Helping Hands operates from its headquarters at 1500 NW 1st Court in Boca Raton.
