A new Pilates studio is bringing fitness, balance and community to Royal Palm Beach.

BODYBAR Pilates officially opened Monday at 11021 Southern Blvd., Suite 170, in the Southern Palm Crossing shopping center.

Barbara Benz and her husband, Justin, own the studio. Barbara, a fitness industry professional with experience in instruction, client service and business management, says the studio welcomes people of all fitness levels.

“BODYBAR Pilates’ mission is to cultivate a balanced, athletic and real community,” she says. “Our expert-led classes cater to all fitness levels in a welcoming environment, utilizing state-of-the-art Pilates equipment.”

BODYBAR’s workouts combine Pilates principles with reformers and other equipment to help build strength, improve balance and work toward long-term fitness goals.

The Royal Palm Beach studio held a soft opening the week before its official debut, giving Benz an early look at how the community would respond. She says clients have already begun inviting friends, growing the studio’s community naturally.

The location is targeting residents in Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, Loxahatchee and Westlake. Benz hopes the studio becomes a welcoming place where clients can exercise, build friendships and feel a sense of belonging.

“I’m just thrilled to be here, and I’m really glad that the community is responding in a positive way,” she says.

Benz plans eventually to open additional locations.

BODYBAR Pilates Royal Palm Beach is open seven days a week.
