Boynton Beach Night Market returns with 80s theme, live music and local vendors

Downtown Boynton Beach will come alive with music, shopping and nostalgic 1980s fun when the Boynton Beach Night Market returns Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, at Centennial Park & Amphitheater.

Hosted by the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (BBCRA), the free two-day event will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. each evening at 120 E. Ocean Ave.

This year's Night Market embraces an 80s theme, featuring live entertainment, colorful décor, an 80s costume contest, interactive activities, food vendors and shopping.

Created by the BBCRA, the Night Market is designed to promote businesses throughout the Boynton Beach CRA District and the City of Boynton Beach.

The Night Market will feature live music on both evenings, along with DJs, aerial performances and roaming entertainers.

On Friday, July 24, entertainment includes:

• Josh Gluck and the Family Tree, 5 to 7:30 p.m.

• Nostaljah Band, 8 to 11 p.m.

• DJ Mike Locke, 5 to 11 p.m.

• Sunshine Circus Arts Aerial Performances at 5:30, 7:30 and 9 p.m.

• Roaming costumed performers from 6 to 11 p.m.

  
  

On Saturday, July 25, the lineup features:

• Spider Cherry, 5 to 7:30 p.m.

• Making Faces, 8 to 11 p.m.

• A live DJ throughout the evening.

• Sunshine Circus Arts Aerial Performances at 5:30, 7:30 and 9 p.m.

• Roaming costumed performers from 6 to 11 p.m.

  
  

In addition to live entertainment, visitors can browse merchandise from more than 80 local artisans, makers and small businesses.

Guests are also encouraged to dress in their favorite 1980s attire for the event's costume contest.

Admission is free, and complimentary parking will be available throughout downtown Boynton Beach.

Walkable parking locations include Boynton Beach City Hall parking lots, First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach, First Church of Boynton Beach, parking lots at the southwest corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Federal Highway, and limited on-street parking along East Ocean Avenue.

Free park-and-ride service will also be available from the Hester Center, 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd., and the Boynton Beach Senior Center, 1021 S. Federal Highway.

Night Market continues to serve as both a community celebration and an economic development initiative by showcasing local businesses.
