The City of West Palm Beach this summer is marking the 30th anniversary of the music, culture and community spirit of Clematis by Night, its award-winning weekly outdoor concert series. The monthlong “CBN Big Three-OH!”celebration will feature free concerts and special festivities every Thursday in June from 6 to 9 p.m at Centennial Square and the Great Lawn, 100 N. Clematis Street, in downtown West Palm Beach.

Since its debut June 8, 1995, Clematis by Night has grown from a modest gathering outside the city’s former public library into a nationally recognized event that attracts hundreds of attendees each week and recently earning recognition as one of USA Today’s Top 3 Outdoor Concert Series in 2024.

“Clematis by Night is more than just a concert series; it is a celebration of the vibrant spirit and unity that define West Palm Beach,” Mayor Keith A. James says. “For 30 years this event has brought our community closer together through music, culture and shared experiences. We are proud to honor this legacy and look forward to creating even more cherished memories.”

The June events will feature live entertainment, food trucks, themed photo opportunities, interactive games like giant Jenga and cornhole, and a variety of special activities.

On June 12, Swift Nation, a Taylor Swift tribute band led by Melody Ebner of San Diego, takes the stage. Themed activities will include friendship bracelet crafting.

June 19 brings Chambers/DesLauriers, a husband-and-wife duo blending blues, soul and rock ’n’ roll. Their love story, which began at a Memphis music conference in 2018, has become a musical partnership that fuels dynamic live performances. Special activities include a step-dancing showcase, roller skating and pop-up performances.

The series concludes June 26 with Matt Stone as Elvis, a tribute artist officially recognized by Graceland and the Elvis Presley Estate. Guests are encouraged to wear their best Elvis attire for a costume contest.

“This milestone is about more than music and festivities; it’s about celebrating the connection, diversity and shared memories that Clematis by Night has cultivated over three decades,” says Angela Poco, the community events manager for the city. “Clematis by Night is where music and memories are made.”
