Clinics Can Help "Lucky 13" Golf Classic returns Oct. 16

Clinics Can Help’s 13th annual Golf Classic will tee off Friday, Oct. 16, at BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, bringing together business leaders, philanthropists and golfers to raise funds for children and adults in need of essential medical equipment.

The “Lucky 13” Golf Classic will support the nonprofit Clinics Can Help’s mission of providing wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, pediatric equipment and other durable medical supplies to people throughout South Florida who otherwise could not afford them.

CBS 12 anchor Matt Lincoln will serve as event chair for the tournament, which will feature a scramble format, on-course contests, a silent auction, breakfast, lunch and an awards celebration.

While the day promises friendly competition, organizers say the true purpose is to improve the lives of people facing mobility challenges and medical hardships.

Organizers say the annual Golf Classic has become one of Clinics Can Help’s signature fundraising events, bringing together community members who share a commitment to supporting neighbors in need.

Registration is $450 for an individual or $1,800 for a foursome. Nongolfers can attend the awards luncheon for $100. For more information, visit clinicscanhelp.org.
