Delray Beach’s Creative Arts School will open Nov. 1 at the Old School Square Campus at 51 N. Swinton Ave.

The grand opening is free and open to the public. Attendees can tour the renovated classrooms, meet the instructors and staff, and view local artists’ work.

“The Creative Arts School is a cornerstone of Delray Beach’s commitment to the arts, and we are proud to provide such a valuable resource to our community,” City Manager Terrence Moore said. “We invite everyone to join us for the grand opening.”

Beginning Nov. 5, the school will offer a wide range of art classes for adults and children, including painting, photography, mixed media and creative writing, for all skill levels. The experienced instructors are passionate about fostering a dynamic learning environment. The school will also offer opportunities to engage with art in traditional and contemporary forms.

Classes and registration information can be found at www.delraybeachfl.gov/cas.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Creative Arts School as a vibrant hub for artistic expression and education,” said Gina Carter, the city’s director of communications. “Our goal is to offer the community a welcoming space to explore their creativity, learn new skills and engage with art in meaningful ways.”
