Residents will have the opportunity to learn how Cros Ministries is working to combat hunger in the community at an upcoming event.
The nonprofit organization is holding a Sip & Share on Wednesday, March 25, from 5:30pm to 7:00p.m. at iThink Financial in Royal Palm Beach. The evening offers refreshments and light bites while learning about the organization’s mission to provide food to people in need through community partnerships. The event is free to attend, though space is limited to 35 guests, and advance registration is encouraged.
Serving Palm Beach and Martin counties for nearly five decades, Cros Ministries focuses on addressing hunger and food insecurity through strong partnerships with local communities and organizations. Its services include community food pantries, hot meal programs and an initiative that recovers fresh produce from local farms that might otherwise go to waste. Operating six days a week, Cros Ministries works closely with volunteers, farmers, faith-based groups and community partners to make healthy food more accessible throughout the region.
The Sip & Share event is designed to give community members a closer look at how the organization operates and the role volunteers, donors and partners play in supporting its mission. Attendees will have the chance to meet staff members, ask questions and learn about opportunities to get involved.
The event will take place at: iThink Financial, 11317 Okeechobee Blvd., Royal Palm Beach. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by March 20 by contacting Meredith Caldwell at mcaldwell@crosministries.org or by calling 561-233-9009 ext. 103.
