The City of Delray Beach is celebrating diversity, inclusion and community with its fifth annual, free Delray Beach Pride Festival and Concert in the heart of downtown Saturday, June 14.
The Pride Festival will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. along Northeast Second Avenue between East Atlantic Avenue and Northeast Second Street, as well as at Old School Square in the Pineapple Grove district. Vendors, food trucks, live entertainment and interactive activities will provide an inclusive atmosphere.
The celebration will continue with a free concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Old School Square Pavilion, 51 N. Swinton Ave.Gates open at 7. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Delray Beach’s Pride Festival is part of a city commitment to inclusion and diversity. In 2021, the city made a statement of solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community by installing the Pridescape painting of the inclusive flag at the intersection of Northeast Second Avenue and Northeast First Street in Pineapple Grove. The street mural serves as a symbol of the city’s embrace of equality and support for all residents and visitors.
