The Village of Wellington and the Rotary Club of Wellington are once again partnering to present the annual “Flags of Wellington” display. The display will feature rows of American flags installed along Forest Hill Boulevard adjacent to the Patriot Memorial from May 16 through June 13.
Organizers say the annual installation has become a tribute within the community, allowing residents to honor loved ones and veterans while supporting charitable initiatives through the Rotary of Wellington Foundation.
Flag sponsorship sales are open and may be purchased online. Each sponsorship costs $50 and includes a 3-by-5-foot American flag installed by the Village of Wellington.

Participants may dedicate a flag in honor or memory of a loved one or include a personalized message of hope, gratitude or patriotism. Each flag will feature an attached tag displaying the dedication or message submitted by the sponsor.
At the conclusion of the display on June 13, sponsors will have the opportunity to take their flags home.
According to organizers, all proceeds from the initiative will benefit the Rotary of Wellington Foundation, a nonprofit that supports community service projects throughout Wellington.
The Patriot Memorial display coincides with Memorial Day observances and serves as a symbol of community unity and remembrance along one of Wellington’s busiest corridors.
