Moviegoers in Wellington will soon have a new entertainment destination as Flagship Premium Cinemas prepares to open its newly renovated theater at 13881 Wellington Trace on Friday, June 19.
Operated by FP Cinemas LLC, the theater has undergone a comprehensive top-to-bottom renovation, transforming the former cinema into a modern moviegoing experience designed to combine comfort, technology and community engagement.

The upgraded facility features heated recliners, state-of-the-art sound and projection systems, and a contemporary redesign. The theater's FPX Cinema Elevated auditorium includes 4K laser projection and Dolby sound technology.

Among the theater's signature amenities are self-serve popcorn stations and self-serve fountain drinks, allowing guests to customize their concessions while enjoying unlimited same-day refills.
Company officials say the new Wellington location aims to become a gathering place for local residents.
"We are thrilled to bring Flagship Premium Cinemas to Wellington and join this vibrant community," said Paul Wenger, president of Flagship Premium Cinemas. "Our goal is simple: to create a welcoming space where moviegoers can relax, enjoy premium amenities and share meaningful moments together, all at a price point that makes coming to the movies easy and accessible."
Headquartered in Baltimore, Flagship Premium Cinemas operates theaters throughout the East Coast. For more information, visit flagshipcinemas.com.
