The Hilton West Palm Beach is turning up the heat in August with events and wellness experiences for locals and visitors, from mermaid classes and moonlight yoga to live jazz and seasonal dining options.

On Sunday, Aug. 3, PADI mermaiden Brandee Anthony presents the aquatic experience Mermaid Adventures. Participants of all ages can learn to swim and move like a mermaid in colorful tails and monofins. Classes are held at 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. for $65 to $125 per person.

Surfer’s Shred is a hybrid workout blending land and water training to improve strength and agility on Fridays, Aug. 1 and 15, at 9 a.m. It’s free for hotel guests and $10 for others.

Other wellness offerings include Full Moon Yoga on Friday, Aug. 8, at 8 p.m. and Moonlight Floating Sound Bath on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 8 p.m. Both sessions invite participants to unwind under the stars through movement and sound meditation. Prices range from $10 to $50.
Weekly workouts continue with Sculpt & Sweat, led by trainer Cloe Mimun, on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Sunrise Yoga on Sundays at 8 a.m., complete with a free mimosa or juice afterward at Mezze.
Saturday evenings from 6 to 9, enjoy Jazz Nights at Palma, the hotel’s lobby bar, with live jazz and signature cocktails.
Dining options are also getting a seasonal update. Galley Hour, the daily happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. and from 10 to 11 p.m., offers small bites and drink specials at the bar. Chef Joel Rodriguez has curated a summer prix-fixe menu for $60 with such tropical dishes as spicy tuna tacos, grilled swordfish and Key lime tart.
The Hilton West Palm Beach is at 600 Okeechobee Blvd. in downtown West Palm Beach. Events are open to the public. For registration, reservations and a full schedule of activities, visit hiltonwestpalmbeach.com/hotel-activities, or call 561-231-6000.
