HomeSafe hosts charity golf tournament at Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club

Local nonprofit HomeSafe will hold its annual charity golf tournament on Monday, May 4, at Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, 199 Royal Palm Way in Boca Raton.

The event will feature a shotgun start at 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. A lunch and awards program will follow at 1 p.m.

Men's, ladies and mixed teams are invited to participate. The tournament includes breakfast, golf, player gifts, contests and prizes.

The cost is $700 per player or $2,800 per foursome.

Golf ambassadors for the event include Fern Schmidt, Patty Larkin, Brooke Qualk, Logan Shalmi of The Atlantic Group, Pete Austin and Phil Procacci.

HomeSafe is a nationally accredited nonprofit that has served Palm Beach County and South Florida for more than 46 years, protecting victims of child abuse and domestic violence, and is one of only five specialized therapeutic group care agencies in Florida providing services for traumatized children.
