Junior League of Boca Raton has a new president

Melody Cobbe has taken the helm of the Junior League of Boca Raton, stepping into the role of president at the organization’s annual dinner meeting, where the new board of directors was also installed.

A Junior League member since 2012, Cobbe brings more than a decade of organizational experience, having held numerous leadership positions. Outside her volunteer work, she is the founder of Cobbe Law, a practice dedicated to guiding small businesses through legal challenges and risk management.

“I am so honored to serve the league,” Cobbe says. “The women in our organization volunteer so many hours in the community and make a tremendous difference.”

League members collectively give more than 35,000 volunteer hours and $250,000 a year to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. The league’s focus areas are family welfare and nonprofit support.

Cobbe’s presidency will unfold under the banner of “Anchored in Purpose, Moving Together,” a theme chosen to capture the year’s priorities: strengthening collaboration, cultivating leaders, deepening community partnerships and making sure every member feels connected to the league mission.

The other 2026-27 board members are Darina Bowerman, Lise Orr, Anne Grigsby, Karen Liu, Shannon Moriarity, Lisa Warren, Alexandra Scheiber, Daniele Jean, Donna Capparelli, Alyson Reeves, Jackie Reeves, Jill Merjeski and Kristin Martin.
