Residents are invited to enjoy an evening filled with rhythm and energy as the Latin Groove Project takes the stage at Royal Palm Beach's Commons Park on Friday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. The free outdoor performance is part of the Village’s ongoing concert series, bringing live music to the community.
The Latin Groove Project, led by award-winning percussionist Joe Collado, is known for blending traditional salsa, merengue and Afro-Caribbean rhythms with modern influences. Collado, who was named “Miami’s Best Percussionist” by Miami New Times in 2009, has released multiple successful albums that highlight his signature Latin groove style. His band delivers high-energy shows that are both danceable and family-friendly, making them a favorite across South Florida.
Guests can expect a lively mix of salsa, merengue and Latin jazz, creating the perfect soundtrack for dancing under the stars or simply relaxing on the park’s expansive green lawn. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Food trucks and vendors will also be on site, offering a variety of dining options.
Commons Park, located at 11600 Poinciana Blvd., serves as the Village’s centerpiece for cultural and recreational events. With its scenic lakeside views, walking trails, and community amenities, the park provides an inviting backdrop for gatherings like this one.
The Latin Groove Project’s performance continues Royal Palm Beach’s tradition of showcasing diverse musical acts that reflect the cultural vibrancy of Royal Palm Beach.
