Leadership Engage picks 56-member class
Leadership Palm Beach County, presented by iTHINK Financial, has announced the 56 members of the Class of 2023 for its flagship program. You can join the Engage Class of 2023 as they complete their first session day Sept. 14. The Leadership Plus Happy Hour is at Banko Cantina in West Palm Beach and is from 5 to 7 p.m.
Class members were selected from diverse backgrounds and industries based on their leadership and service in their professional and civic lives. For 10 months the group will participate in a transformative learning experience and build a powerful network with the common goal of bettering Palm Beach County.
Participants will go through exercises to gain an understanding of their leadership styles and learn ways they can make a profound impact on the community. Each month they will spend a full day together exploring topics such as agriculture, public safety, education and health care.
Leadership Palm Beach County (www.leadershippbc.org) is a nonprofit organization that brings together leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to build and steward a vibrant, interconnected community. Over 2,000 adult and youth leaders have gone through LPBC programs, committing to a lifetime of doing public good.
Leadership Engage began in 1983 to bring together and educate the county’s highest potential leaders. Most participants are already actively engaging in community service, and the program helps them build the relationships and skills needed to make a greater impact.
The cost of the program is $2,500. If you are interested in participating in the Class of 2024, sign up for the LPBC newsletter here to know when applications open.
