College football returns to Palm Beach County as the University of Louisville and the University of Toledo prepare to meet in the 12th Annual Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans, kicking off Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on the Florida Atlantic University campus. The postseason matchup will air nationally on ESPN, with radio coverage on ESPN Radio and locally on ESPN 106.3.

This year’s game brings together two programs from opposite ends of the college football landscape. Louisville, representing the Atlantic Coast Conference, enters the bowl with an 8–4 record, remaining nationally ranked for much of the 2025 season. Toledo, the Mid-American Conference contender, also stands at 8–4, including 6–2 in conference play.

The bowl experience stretches far beyond the gridiron. Teams arrive here beginning Dec. 19, with a series of events planned across the region:

  • Dec. 19: Team airport arrivals; head coaches’ press conference at Cox Science Center; welcome parties.

  • Dec. 20: Beach parties for both teams at Benny’s on the Beach in Lake Worth Beach.

  • Dec. 21: Community outreach visits to Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital and West Palm Beach VA Medical Center (private events).

  • Dec. 22, noon–1:30 p.m.: Kickoff Luncheon at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, followed by coach and player media availability.

  • Dec. 22, 6–7:30 p.m.: Joint School Pep Rally at Mizner Park Amphitheater, free and open to the public, featuring bands, dancers, and cheer squads from both universities.

  • Dec. 23: Fan Fest and Family Midway opens outside FAU Stadium, offering live music, food, drinks, community displays, a kid zone, and a team walk-through for fans.

  • Dec. 23, 2 p.m.: Kickoff of the Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans.
