Minto Communities, the master developer and primary builder in Westlake, is introducing two smaller floor plans for single-family homes.
At 1,644 square feet, the single-story Cassia model offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a den, a covered lanai and a two-car garage. The Cassia has an oversized kitchen and a base price is $435,990.
The Aster is 1,699 square feet and also offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, a covered lanai and a two-car garage. It boasts a spacious kitchen and breakfast nook, dual walk-in closets, and an optional wet bar in the den. The base price is $440,990.
Previously, Minto’s least expensive floor plan for a single-family home in Westlake was just under $468,000.
“With today’s economic conditions, we’ve seen an uptick in demand for smaller single-family homes at lower price points,” says Steve Svopa, the Southeast division president of Minto Communities USA. “We decided to offer these two new floor plans to ensure our home buyers have a wide and diverse range of home options. ”
Minto this year completed construction on Westlake’s $22 million park, which includes four full-length, lighted basketball courts, a multipurpose building called The Lodge with an outdoor lawn, and an adults-only lap pool. These amenities join a lagoon pool with tower slide, splash pad, covered concert pavilion, picnic area, BMX park, playground, food truck court, dog park and more.
Westlake is approved for 4,500 homes and more than 2 million square feet of commercial space. Minto offers single-family homes, estate homes and town houses. Its Welcome Heroes program offers a 3% discount to nurses, paramedics, teachers, police officers and other public servants.
The Westlake Sales Center is at 16610 Town Center Parkway North on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road between Southern and Northlake boulevards.
