Families looking for a unique Father’s Day outing can combine Japanese cuisine, cultural exploration and scenic gardens during a special celebration at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens on Sunday, June 21.
In honor of Father’s Day, the museum’s popular Cornell Café will offer a special lunch feature overlooking the Morikami’s tranquil lake and Japanese gardens.
The featured entrée will be a slow-roasted duck served with a citrus-orange glaze, cilantro-infused rice and a seasonal vegetable medley. The Father’s Day special is priced at $29. Guests can also enjoy a Father’s Day beverage promotion featuring two Sapporo beers for $10.

The dining experience offers families an opportunity to celebrate "chichi" — the Japanese word for father — while enjoying the museum’s distinctive blend of culture, cuisine and natural beauty.
Following lunch, visitors can explore Morikami’s six distinct Japanese gardens, which showcase traditional landscape design and provide a peaceful setting for a leisurely afternoon. Guests may also tour the museum’s exhibits highlighting Japanese art, history and culture.
Located on a 16-acre campus in western Delray Beach, Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is one of South Florida’s premier cultural attractions and serves as a gateway to Japanese culture through exhibitions, educational programs, festivals and garden experiences.
Cornell Café will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Father’s Day. Museum admission is required to access the restaurant.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
