To offer a serene escape from the summer heat, Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County is introducing "Summer Golden Hours," inviting visitors to explore its tropical oasis during the cooler, softer light of early evenings.

Throughout June, July, and August, the garden will extend its hours until 8 p.m.

every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The initiative provides guests with additional time to experience the grounds as the day transitions to night, a period often favored by photographers and nature enthusiasts for its tranquil atmosphere.

"We want to give the community new ways to enjoy the Garden — especially in summer, when some of the best hours are after work," said James May, the Executive Director at Mounts. "Visitors can stroll through the Garden's lush landscapes and enjoy the beauty of the pre-sunset lighting at one of the Palm Beaches' most tranquil destinations."

The Summer Golden Hours will continue through August 2026. It is recommended that guests arrive by 7 p.m. to allow sufficient time to explore the property. Regular admission rates apply, and on-site parking is available at no charge.
