This weekend, culture and community come together as Bank of America’s Museums on Us program once again opens the doors to some of Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast’s most celebrated cultural institutions. On Saturday, Oct. 4, and Sunday, Oct. 5, Bank of America, Merrill, and Bank of America Private Bank credit and debit cardholders can enjoy free admission to four local museums — a tradition that has lasted more than 25 years.
In West Palm Beach, the Norton Museum of Art (1450 S. Dixie Hwy.) offers one of the region’s finest collections of American, Chinese, European, and contemporary art, alongside photography and rotating exhibitions. Just a few miles away, families can explore hands-on science exhibits, marine life tanks, and planetarium shows at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium (4801 Dreher Trail N.)
Up the coast, the Vero Beach Museum of Art (3001 Riverside Park Drive) provides a serene cultural escape with galleries, art classes, and sculpture gardens, while the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast (1707 NE Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach) creates interactive experiences designed to spark creativity and learning in young visitors.
To take advantage of the program, cardholders simply present their Bank of America, Merrill, or Bank of America Private Bank card along with a photo ID at the admissions desk. Free entry applies to the cardholder only and covers general admission. Special ticketed exhibits, fundraising events, and other promotions are excluded.
Since its inception in 1998, Museums on Us has grown into a nationwide initiative, partnering with more than 225 cultural institutions in 123 cities across the U.S. The program has not only expanded access but also introduced countless first-time visitors to local museums.
