See Vision Eye Institute has officially opened a purpose-built 15,000-square-foot facility in Wellington with 14 advanced exam lanes, a cutting-edge laser suite, two office-based surgical suites and a full-service optical department.
“This practice began as a vision — my dream to create a space where patients could access the most advanced eye surgery in a setting that reflects precision, efficiency and care,” says Dr. Jason Gorscak, the founder and owner of See Vision Eye Institute. “With the opening of our new building and the upcoming launch of our surgery center, that dream is now a reality.”

Gorscak, a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Miami School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His deep connection to South Florida inspired him to establish a center that offers cutting-edge cataract surgery and next-generation refractive technology with a strong focus on personalized patient care.
The new facility is designed to elevate the patient experience while integrating the latest advancements in eye care technology. Among the center’s offerings are femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, image-guided systems, and a full suite of premium intraocular lenses (IOLs), including toric, multifocal and light-adjustable lenses. The institute also specializes in refractive lens exchange (RLE) and implantable collamer lenses (ICLs), offering effective alternatives to LASIK.
“Our goal is simple,” CEO Myra Cherchio says. “We help people live better by helping them see better. This expansion reflects our long-term commitment to delivering superior outcomes, creating a center of excellence in eye care and becoming an employer of choice in the region.”

Since its founding in January 2024, See Vision Eye Institute has focused on improving access to advanced eye care services. The team’s dedication to clinical excellence, patient education and comfort has earned community trust for the clinic. The upcoming surgical center will further expand treatment options.
The new location is at Homeland Plaza, 5165 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth.
