The Square brings some action in May


The Square, located in downtown West Palm Beach, is known for its great restaurants and retail.


The Square in downtown West Palm Beach is celebrating spring and summer with a variety of events and festivals.

 

“The heart and soul of West Palm is all about coming together to soak in the vibrant lifestyle while enjoying the easygoing pace of life,” said Sasha Jozefczyk, the vice president of marketing and communications at Related Southeast.




 

aZul Fashion Fest

May 11 | 4-7 p.m.

Local designers showcase their spring and summer collections for aZul — Fashion, Art & Design, a nonprofit committed to providing art-focused programs for adults with disabilities such as Down syndrome and autism, along with their caregivers and families.

 

International Red Sneakers Day

May 19 | 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Free admission

International Red Sneakers Day promotes awareness of food allergies with allergy-friendly vendors, activities for children and teens, and information from the food allergy community. Wear red sneakers or something else red.

 

Page Beats & Playful Streets: A Literary ’90s House Jam Youth Fest

May 31 | 5-9 p.m.

Join an evening that harks back to the iconic ’90s house party era. Children and teens can groove to hip-hop beats, dive into DJ story time, participate in a vinyl painting workshop and try their hand at DJ lessons. Organized by FLAVAR and Rohi’s Readery, Youth Fest celebrates the school year’s achievements while gearing up for summer reading and activities.



The Square also has free events for all ages from Memorial Day through Labor Day:

 

Bubble Blast

Fridays, 5 and 6 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, noon, 2, 4 and 6 p.m.

A 15-minute bubble show and family-focused pop-ups, STEAM activities and more.

 

Science Sunday with Cox Science Center and Aquarium

May 26 through Sept. 3

The Cox Science Center and Aquarium features interactive, themed demonstrations each Sunday.

 

Sunday HIIT with 1 Fitness

Advanced registration required; sign up here

Join fitness instructors from 1 Fitness for a 45-minute session packed with high-intensity functional exercises. The class blends resistance training with cardio bursts to boost strength, sculpt lean muscle and burn calories. All fitness levels are welcome.

 

Wednesday Yoga with Jade Wonzo

Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

$10 suggested donation for Rohi’s Readery

With six years in the field, Jade Wonzo shares her yoga expertise throughout Palm Beach County. She believes that every body is a “yoga body.” Her classes are inclusive and welcoming to all.

 

Saturday Yoga with Natalie Addison

Saturdays, 10-11 a.m.

$10 suggested donation

Natalie Addison, who has taught yoga for four years and been a personal trainer for 15 years, guides you through an all-levels Vinyasa class on Rosemary Avenue in front of True Food Kitchen.
