Residents and visitors can enjoy an evening of food, shopping and live entertainment during Thursday Nights in Wellington, a weekly community event featuring gourmet food trucks, local vendors and live music.

Held from 5 to 9 p.m. at 12100 Forest Hill Blvd., the event brings together approximately 18 food trucks and 35 local small-business vendors, offering a wide variety of dining options, handmade goods, specialty foods, baked treats, gifts and other unique products.

The evening's live entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by Blackwater Country, a country music band. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating while enjoying the outdoor concert.

The local market will be open throughout the event, providing shoppers with an opportunity to support area artisans and small businesses.

Food truck offerings include Best Pizza Heaven, Cousins Maine Lobster, El Salvaje, Famous Wings, Glazed & Fueled, La Nostra Pizza, Libation Nation, Lucky Chu's Hibachi, Mr. Burger, Mr. Lobster, Papi Churro, Phillys House, Sizzle N Fry, Strong Pollo, The Brasserie, The Shrimp King, Tulum Taco Shop and Wanna Chicken.

Organizers note that the lineup of gourmet food trucks rotates weekly. For the latest updates, follow @ThursdayNightsinWellington on social media.

The free event is held at 12100 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to explore the vendors, enjoy dinner from one of the many food trucks and settle in for an evening of live music.
