If you’re looking for a playful way to spend Saturday with your four-legged friend, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation is inviting dogs (and their humans) to cool off with a splash at Waggin’ at the Water Park. On Saturday, Oct. 4, Calypso Bay Waterpark in Royal Palm Beach and Coconut Cove Waterpark in Boca Raton will transform into canine playgrounds for a special dog swim day.

For one day only, pups of all sizes can enjoy 50-minute swim sessions while their owners connect with fellow dog lovers. To keep things safe and enjoyable, the splash sessions are divided by weight:

  • 10:00–10:50 a.m. — Dogs 45 lbs. and up

  • 11:00–11:50 a.m. — Dogs under 45 lbs.

  • 12:00–12:50 p.m. — Dogs 45 lbs. and up

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., and additional spots may be available 30 minutes before each session if capacity allows. Each session is limited, so early arrival is recommended.

All dogs must have proof of current rabies, DHLP, and Bordetella vaccinations to participate, and must wear a collar and license while in the pool area. Owners can speed up check-in by emailing registration forms and proof of vaccines ahead of time.

Participants are encouraged to submit registration forms and proof of vaccinations by email prior to the event date for approval. For Calypso Bay Waterpark, submissions may be sent to Lindsay Dalton at ldalton@pbc.gov or Diana Rodriguez at dsrodrig@pbc.gov. For Coconut Cove Waterpark, forms should be directed to Bailey DeVito at bdevito@pbc.gov or Alaura Hart at ahart@pbc.gov.
