October is National Chiropractic Awareness Month, and one of Wellington’s own is using the occasion to spotlight natural approaches to pain relief and overall wellness. Dr. Brittany Perez, owner of AlignLife of Wellington, has organized a month-long series of events and workshops aimed at helping residents live more active, pain-free lives without relying on medication or surgery.
Since opening her clinic in July, Dr. Perez has already helped hundreds of patients manage chronic pain, recover from sports injuries, and improve their mobility through personalized chiropractic care. She views October’s awareness campaign as a chance to expand that impact. “Chiropractic care is not just about pain; it’s about helping the body function at its highest potential,” she says. “Our mission at AlignLife of Wellington is to empower our community with the knowledge and tools they need to live healthier, more active lives naturally.”
Throughout the month, AlignLife is offering a range of opportunities for the community to learn more about chiropractic care. These include wellness consultations for new patients, a Better Results Faster workshop on Oct. 6 at 6:15 p.m., and a Sleep Workshop on Oct. 16 at 6:15 p.m. The month culminates in a family-friendly Table or Treat event on Oct. 31 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., where local businesses will join in to create a safe and fun environment for children while raising awareness about healthy living.
This year’s theme, “Get Started with Chiropractic,” emphasizes non-drug approaches to pain management. For Dr. Perez, the month is about more than patient care—it’s about building stronger community connections. “Whether you’re dealing with recurring headaches, back or neck pain, sports injuries, or just looking to optimize your health, we are here to support your journey,” she says.
National Chiropractic Awareness Month gives Palm Beach County and Wellington residents a chance to take stock of their health while exploring new ways to enhance their quality of life. By combining patient education, hands-on workshops, and community engagement, AlignLife of Wellington is ensuring that awareness can translate into action.
