Wellington families are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring at Wellington’s Annual Egg Hunt, set for Saturday, April 4, at the Village Park softball fields. The free event will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
Hosted at Village Park, located at 11700 Pierson Road, the event will feature more than 45,000 eggs distributed across multiple fields, creating a fast-paced experience for children of all ages. To ensure safety, the egg hunt will be divided into clearly designated age groups, including children ages 2 and under (or those requiring special accommodations), ages 3 to 4, ages 5 to 7 and ages 8 to 10.
Within the thousands of eggs scattered across the fields, select eggs will contain special pink bunny tickets, which can be redeemed for prizes.

The Wellington Egg Hunt has become a staple community gathering, offering families a chance to enjoy a festive outdoor activity while connecting with neighbors and friends.
Participants should bring their own baskets or bags for collecting eggs.
The event will begin promptly at 10 a.m., and families are encouraged to be in place prior to the start, as egg hunts in each age group typically move quickly once they begin.
With its combination of tradition and community spirit, Wellington’s Annual Egg Hunt continues to serve as a highlight of the spring season, offering a memorable experience for children and families alike.
