Wellington will pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country during its Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Wellington's Veterans Memorial, located at the corner of Forest Hill and South Shore boulevards. The event is free and open to the public.

The morning of remembrance begins with a parade at 8:15 a.m., starting from Wellington’s Village Hall (12300 Forest Hill Blvd.), featuring veterans, community groups, and local organizations marching together in unity. The procession concludes at the Veterans Memorial, where a ceremony will follow at 8:30 a.m.

The solemn program, presented by the Village of Wellington and the American Legion Post 390 – Wellington, will include remarks from Wellington’s Council members, patriotic tributes, and the placement of memorial wreaths to honor those who served and sacrificed in defense of freedom.

Active and retired veterans attending the event are invited to register at the Wellington tent on the morning of the ceremony to have their names recognized during the program.
