Led by a knowledgeable naturalist, the program will give participants a close look at Florida’s native reptiles and amphibians, with a special focus on the American alligator—one of the state’s most iconic wetland inhabitants. Guests will learn about the biology, behavior and ecological importance of these remarkable creatures, which play a critical role in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

Following the presentation, participants will enjoy a guided nature walk through Green Cay’s scenic wetlands, home to alligators, turtles, frogs and a variety of bird species.

The program is open to all ages and costs $5 per participant. Space is limited to 20 people, and reservations are required. Visitors are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.
