Daggerwing Nature Center in the Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park west of Boca Raton features a 3,000-square-foot hall with live animals, exhibits, classroom facilities, a laboratory, an art gallery, a quiet area for reading, a butterfly garden and an elevated boardwalk through the swamplands.

The boardwalk has two trails, a relaxation area for sitting and an observation tower to view the plant and animal life, which includes ospreys, woodpeckers, butterflies, turtles, alligators and a variety of bromeliads.
