Letting Go Ceremony 2023 at Mounts

This special event is helping Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden finish the year on a high note and set the tone for 2024.

“As we revel in slightly cooler weather, December is the perfect month for people of all ages to come out and enjoy many of the happy and healthy horticultural events at our beautiful 20-acre oasis, located just minutes from downtown West Palm Beach,” Mounts Director Rochelle Wolberg says.

Sound & Cacao Serenity: Letting Go Ceremony 2023 with Casa Rituals

Dec. 31, 10 a.m. to noon

$35 for members, $45 for nonmembers (includes full garden admission). Classes are nonrefundable; registration is required.

Please bring a yoga mat and blanket; no alcohol on the day of the ceremony and no caffeine three hours before and after the event.

A ceremonial smudging and blessing will set the stage for shedding daily burdens. Participants will be presented a cup of ceremonial cacao, engaging in a sacred heart-opening cacao ceremony. The cacao aims to induce relaxation, unlock the heart chakra and enhance receptivity for the healing experience. Attendees will transition to the 2023 Release Ritual, a guided process of letting go of what no longer serves them, executed with intention and grace. To conclude, they will gently immerse themselves in a yoga nidra meditation, enveloped in the soothing vibrations of gongs, crystal singing bowls and other high-frequency instruments, enabling the healing elements to embrace each participant.
