Palm Beach State College and Baptist Health South Florida marked a significant expansion of their partnership with the groundbreaking of the Baptist Health South Florida Beach Volleyball Complex, a project designed to elevate collegiate athletics while expanding community access to recreational programming.

The new facility, made possible through Baptist Health’s financial investment, is being developed as a world-class venue to support elite competition, host tournaments and provide opportunities for public engagement. It will serve as the future home of Palm Beach State’s nationally recognized women’s beach volleyball program.

College officials say the complex is designed with both performance and accessibility in mind, featuring multiple sand courts, shaded spectator areas and integrated technology infrastructure to support live streaming and broadcast capabilities. The venue is expected to position Palm Beach State as a regional destination for collegiate and professional-level beach volleyball.

“This collaboration goes far beyond building a state-of-the-art venue—it’s about building opportunity,” says Ava L Parker. “This new complex symbolizes the strength of our partnership and our shared commitment to education, wellness and community.”
