Palm Beach State College has named Andria Cunningham the chief executive officer of the Foundation for Palm Beach State College and vice president of advancement. In this combined role, she will lead the college’s philanthropic vision, cultivating donor relationships, strengthening alumni engagement and fostering strategic partnerships that fuel student achievement and institutional growth.

Cunningham has more than two decades of experience in fundraising, community outreach and higher education leadership. She most recently served as assistant vice president of advancement and community relations at Nova Southeastern University, where she directed major gift campaigns, developed community collaborations and managed military affairs initiatives. She also was the university’s liaison to its Ambassadors Board.

“Andria brings a depth of experience in philanthropy, relationship building and strategic vision that aligns perfectly with the college’s mission and future goals,” Palm Beach State President Ava L. Parker said. “Her proven track record in securing major philanthropic support and engaging diverse communities will be instrumental in advancing the foundation and the college’s impact across Palm Beach County and beyond.”

Joining Nova Southeastern in 2015 as senior director of development for the Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship and the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Cunningham quickly surpassed fundraising goals. She went on to serve as executive director of development and alumni engagement and executive director of transformational gifts, leading a team focused on securing seven-figure and larger contributions. She also taught graduate courses in major gifts, planned giving and endowment development as an adjunct professor.
