Employees from Related Ross joined forces with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County and local volunteers for a day of community service across West Palm Beach during the company’s inaugural “Build Together Day,” an initiative focused on supporting and preserving affordable housing in the area.
The full-day volunteer event brought together employees, residents and community partners for hands-on projects while also providing participants an opportunity to hear directly from Habitat representatives about the organization’s mission and its work partnering with families to build and preserve homes throughout Palm Beach County.

The day began in Coleman Park, where volunteers worked alongside Habitat for Humanity teams to complete exterior painting projects on four neighborhood homes. Organizers said the work was aimed not only at improving appearance, but also helping protect the homes from long-term wear and deterioration.
By extending the lifespan of the homes and supporting ongoing maintenance, the project contributes to preserving affordable housing stock in the community, according to organizers.
“West Palm Beach is a city we’re proud to call home, and we want to be part of expanding access to housing across the community,” said Jeremy Morse, executive director of the Related Ross Foundation. “Efforts like this go beyond a single day — they’re about showing up, working alongside partners like Habitat for Humanity, and contributing in a meaningful way to the neighborhoods we’re part of.”
Jennifer Thomason, president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, said partnerships with organizations such as Related Ross help families remain in safe and affordable homes.
“We’re grateful to Related Ross for their investment and partnership,” Thomason said. “Their support helps preserve affordable housing and ensures families can continue to live safely, comfortably, and affordably in the community they call home.”

Build Together Day is part of Related Ross’ broader community engagement efforts through the Related Ross Foundation, which focuses on expanding access to education, employment and housing opportunities across South Florida. The foundation partners with local organizations on initiatives aimed at strengthening economic mobility and increasing opportunity throughout the region.
Led by developer Stephen Ross, Related Ross has emerged as one of the largest real estate development firms shaping growth across Palm Beach County. The company’s portfolio includes mixed-use developments, office space, luxury and affordable housing, hotels, hospitality projects and public spaces.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit organization that helps families and individuals build or improve affordable housing. Habitat homeowners work alongside volunteers to help build their homes and purchase them through affordable mortgage programs.
