A culinary tradition with a purpose, the 7th Annual Taste of Recovery returns Nov. 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the American German Club (5111 Lantana Road, Lake Worth). The event brings together top chefs, restaurateurs, and food lovers from across Palm Beach County in support of a local nonprofit.
Founded by Chef Louie Bossi, chef/partner of Louie Bossi’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, Taste of Recovery benefits The Crossroads Club, a Delray Beach organization celebrating more than 40 years of helping individuals and families affected by addiction. The Club provides a safe haven and a path toward recovery, at no charge, for anyone seeking hope and community.
“Taste of Recovery is a fantastic evening of delicious food from our finest area restaurants, all while supporting an important cause—helping to fight addiction,” says Dylan Morgan, Executive Director of The Crossroads Club and event co-chair, alongside Jocelyn Morgan.
This year’s festival will feature tasting stations from some of Palm Beach County’s most beloved restaurants, including Elisabetta’s, Louie Bossi’s, Louie’s Hot Chicken, Art Basil Restaurant, J&J Seafood Bar and Grill, City Cellar, Motor City Pizza, Taco Tuesday’s Taqueria, and Pure Life Fitness Café. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment, raffles, and a relaxing atmosphere.
A panel of local food experts—Jan Norris, Mike Mayo, and Tyler Childress—will serve as judges, presenting Critics’ Choice Awards of $2,000 for first place and $1,500 for second. Guests can cast their ballots for the People’s Choice Award, worth $1,500. Last year, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill swept both honors for its short ribs, while Rocco’s Tacos took home second place.
Major sponsors include S.E. Toyota, Drew Horowitz & Associates, Neighborlee Living, Caron Renaissance, Futures Recovery Healthcare, Robinson & Casey, Stuart and Shelby Home Builders, and Beachway Therapy Center.
“What makes Taste of Recovery special is the sense of community,” Morgan says. “It’s not just about incredible food—it’s about neighbors coming together to support one another.”
Tickets are $65 in advance or $75 at the door, available at Eventbrite.com.

Taste of Recovery isn’t just a culinary festival—it’s a testament to what people in the community can do when they come together for an important cause.
