Inspired by one of Alan Jackson’s most beloved hits, 5 O’Clock Somewhere Fest is being launched as a celebration of country music, coastal living and the laid-back lifestyle that has long been a hallmark of the Country Music Hall of Famer’s career.
Organizers say the festival is designed to capture the spirit of Jackson’s chart-topping anthem, creating an atmosphere where fans can leave their worries behind and enjoy great music.
The inaugural event will feature a lineup that blends contemporary country stars, legendary performers and tropical-inspired entertainment, reflecting the broad musical influences that have helped define Jackson’s decades-long career.
Headlining the festival are rising country star Ella Langley, award-winning country group Old Dominion and Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, bringing together some of the biggest names in modern country music with the signature island sound that Buffett fans love.
The lineup also includes Dylan Scott, Clint Black, Shenandoah, John Anderson and Rodney Atkins. Additional performances are scheduled from Jimmy Buffett tribute act Jammy Buffet and singer-songwriter Allen Stone, among others.
Comedian Dusty Slay and J.D. Spradlin of SiriusXM’s Radio Margaritaville will serve as event hosts, helping guide audiences through the festivities.
Organizers envision the festival becoming an annual destination event, drawing country music fans from across the country while paying tribute to Jackson’s enduring influence on American music.
The festival’s name comes from Jackson’s 2003 hit "It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere," his iconic collaboration with Jimmy Buffett that became one of the most recognizable songs of his career.
With a lineup that bridges country music traditions and Buffett-inspired beach culture, 5 O’Clock Somewhere Fest aims to create a unique experience that celebrates both musical legacies while introducing a new annual gathering for fans.
