In a landmark announcement, the Wellington-based International Polo Tour (IPT) unveiled plans for the official Stadium and Educational & Cultural Center, a comprehensive sports, equestrian and community complex designed to redefine the future of polo and live events in Wellington.

The stadium and center are designed to modernize polo through a technology-driven indoor arena and expand access through education and community programming. If completed as planned, it would stand among the largest and most technologically advanced polo developments in the United States.

"This is so much more than just a stadium," said Tareq Salahi, Chairman of the International Polo Tour. "It is a purpose-built destination, one that will enhance polo's role on the world stage while serving our local community through dedicated educational opportunities, sustainability and meaningful economic impact."

Among the stadium's priorities will be an emphasis on green-space preservation and thoughtful land use that supports Palm Beach County's coastal and community character. Amenities include landscaped viewing areas, walking paths and interactive educational features, AI-powered interactive kiosks, robotic bartenders and assistants working alongside human employees, flexible indoor and outdoor event spaces and facilities.

The IPT Stadium will offer a limited number of co-naming and co-presenting sponsorship opportunities, alongside more than 60 premium luxury suites. The stadium is designed to accommodate between 8,000 and 15,000 spectators.

Unlike a traditional stadium, the IPT Educational & Cultural Center will work directly with community leaders throughout Wellington and Palm Beach County to host professional arena polo matches year-round, develop youth and adult equestrian instruction, provide equine wellness and horsemanship programs and offer educational clinics.

The International Polo Tour is a global organization dedicated to elevating the sport of polo through elite competition, international cultural exchange, luxury experiences, tourism programs and philanthropic initiatives.
