Yoga enthusiasts and animal lovers will have an opportunity to combine fitness with a charitable cause Wednesday, Nov. 4, when Village Yoga and Furry Friends Jupiter present Pups + Yoga on the Rooftop at Harbourside Place, 200 N. U.S. Highway 1 in Jupiter.
The event, scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m., will feature sunset yoga and adoptable dogs.
Led by Chelsea Paine of Village Yoga, the 45-minute slow-flow yoga class is designed for all experience levels. The evening will begin with mat setup at 5 p.m. and a meet-and-greet with adoptable puppies and older dogs until 5:30.
The yoga class will run from 5:45 to 6:30. Participants will have additional time with the dogs after the class.
The gathering will take place on the rooftop above Jupiter Grill. Attendees should check in at the side door near Pura Vida, across from The Woods. Parking is available beneath the Indiantown Road bridge and in parking garages.
Registration is $30 plus fees and taxes through Eventbrite, and proceeds benefit Furry Friends Jupiter.
