The Village of Wellington is calling on residents, businesses and community organizations to help local families through its 2026 Holiday Food Drive, which is collecting donations through Friday, Nov. 13.

All donated food will be distributed to local families in need to ensure they have Thanksgiving meals.

The drive seeks nonperishable items commonly served during Thanksgiving, such as boxed mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, canned vegetables, cornbread mix, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy. Requested canned vegetables include green beans, peas, corn and sweet potatoes.

Village officials remind donors to check expiration dates on food items.

Donations are being accepted at Village Hall, 12300 Forest Hill Blvd.; Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road; Wellington Community Center, 12150 Forest Hill Blvd.; and Wellington Tennis Center, 3100 Lyons Road.
