Break out the leg warmers and dust off your favorite band tee — the 2026 Royal Palm Beach Seafood Festival is turning back the clock.

The annual free, family-friendly event returns to Commons Park at 11600 Poinciana Blvd. in Royal Palm Beach on Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This year's theme, "Back to the 80's," invites attendees to come dressed as their favorite 80's celebrity, rock star or movie character — and yes, there will be a DeLorean Time Machine on site.

SEAFOOD AND MORE

The festival has an extensive spread of seafood dishes, including fish, conch, lobster, shrimp, oysters, crab and more. For those who prefer to keep it on dry land, plenty of non-seafood options will also be available. Large shade tents provide comfortable dining space, and two themed bars will serve cocktails and tropical drinks throughout both days.

ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL AGES

Two stages will feature non-stop live music across the weekend, with 80's tribute bands covering the decade's full range — Pop, New Wave, Hair Metal, Alternative, Rock and Reggae. Roving costumed characters will circulate throughout the festival grounds, and a variety of unique merchandise vendors will offer something for every shopper.

Younger festivalgoers can head to the Little Fins Kid's Zone, packed with bounce houses, slides, interactive games and 80's video games. Kids of all ages will also have a chance to meet a real mermaid, find roaming pirates and snap photos with an inflatable Great White Shark.

WHALES, SCIENCE AND CONSERVATION

Saturday brings a special educational attraction courtesy of FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, which will present a traveling exhibit of whales — including the chance to step inside a life-sized inflatable Humpback Whale. The exhibit covers whale conservation and what individuals can do to help protect these animals. The Harbor Branch exhibit is available Saturday only.

Admission is free and open to the public. For the full band schedule and performance times, visit RoyalPalmBeachSeafoodFestival.com.
