Families can begin planning for summer as registration for the Village of Wellington’s popular All-Day Summer Camp is opening this week, offering eight weeks of structured activities, field trips and aquatic fun for children ages 5 to 15.
Hosted at the Village Park Gymnasium, 11700 Pierson Road, the camp runs in weekly sessions from June 1 through Aug. 7, operating Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Campers are grouped by age with programs that include athletics, arts and crafts, games, animal exhibits, movies and magicians.
Older campers participate in off-site field trips to regional attractions such as Rapids Water Park, Boomer’s, fishing charters, baseball games, ice skating, bowling, snorkeling excursions and beach outings. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, all campers visit the Wellington Aquatics Center at 3410 120th Avenue South for supervised swimming activities.
Village of Wellington residents receive 24-hour early access before non-residents. All registration opens at 8:00 a.m.

First-time registrants must provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate, and families establishing residency status must present two forms of identification.
