Wellington brings a taste of the Midwest to the Wellington Amphitheater with the

inaugural Wisconsin Foodie Fest, a celebration capturing the down-to-earth flavors of America’s Dairyland Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8 and 9.

The festival will transform Wellington into a slice of Wisconsin, complete with authentic beer, cheese, and sausage tastings that highlight the state’s culinary roots. Beverage vendors will serve Wisconsin-style beer and nonalcoholic refreshments.

Organized by the village’s Community Events Department, visitors can enjoy a full day of fun with live music, craft and food vendors, face painting, bounce houses, lawn games, and laser tag. Festivalgoers can also take part in polka dancing lessons and puppy yoga.

“This is a great opportunity for local vendors to bring a taste of the Midwest to South Florida,” says Wellington's assistant director of community events, Michelle Garvey. “Whether you make the best cheese curds around or specialize in Wisconsin-themed crafts, we want you to be part of this unique new festival.”
